Once upon a time, there lived a hare and a tortoise in a forest. One day, the hare said to the tortoise, “Let’s have a race!”. The tortoise accepted the challenge and got ready for the race. Confident in his speed, the hare thought it would be an easy win. All the animals of the forest got excited hearing about this unusual race and gathered to witness the event with excitement.
The race started in front of the animals of the forest. At the start of the race, the hare raced ahead, leaving the tortoise far behind. But the tortoise didn’t lose his will and continued to walk. He kept going steadily, even though he was slow.
Being overconfident in winning, the hare decided to have some rest midway as the tortoise was too slow to catch him up, making the race too boring. While resting under the tree, the hare fell asleep.
While the hare slept, the tortoise kept moving forward, step by step. He didn’t stop, and he didn’t get discouraged. The tortoise continued to move steadily towards the finish line, never losing sight of his goal. He soon overtook the hare and took the lead.
When the hare woke up, he was surprised to see the tortoise ahead of him. The hare tried to catch up, but he had lost too much time. The tortoise crossed the finish line first, winning the race. He rushed to catch up. However, he had lost too much time, and the fortoise won the race.
On witnessing the race, all the animals learned a valuable lesson that speed alone is not enough to win a race and we should never give up. Aftermath, both the hare and the tortoise became good friends, always remembering the race that taught them the value of persistence and determination.
