Four Bulls And The Lion Story

In the forest, there lived a lion who used to keep an eye on these four bulls. The lion planned many times to hunt one of the bulls. But to his dismay, none of the bulls was alone, and all four stayed together the whole time. His plan to attack any one of them when it is alone didn’t come to fruition because the bulls always stood united. Then the lion thought, “I cannot win over all four of them with my strength. I have to make them leave the group and graze separately.”

The lion made a tactful plan to create disunity among the bulls. He approached each bull individually and said things that sowed seeds of doubt in their minds.

“My friend,” he said to the first bull, “I’ve noticed the others consuming more grass, leaving you with less. You’re growing thinner by the day.” And so, he whispered similar words to each bull, creating disharmony among them. Each bull, listening to the tricky words of the lion, started to doubt the integrity of their friendship.

Soon, suspicion grew among the once-united bulls. They started avoiding each other. Each bull claimed its own territory in the field and started to graze alone separately.

The next day, the lion attacked the second bull. One by one, the lion preyed upon all four isolated bulls, devouring them with ease.
