To do this activity, gather the following craft essentials:
- Cardboard box
- Paper
- Sketch pens

- Glue stick

How to Make It
Take a piece of paper and draw a monster picture with big mouth and a square below it as known in the image below.
Cut out the round mouth and slit the square with scissors.
Take a cardboard box and make holes of the same size as the round and square drawn on the paper.
Paste the paper onto the cardboard using a glue stick.
Cut a paper into a long strip and write alphabets A to Z on it. If the strip is short, write on another paper strip and glue them together to make a lengthy strip.
Insert the strip on the cardboard in a way that allows you to move the alphabets in the square slit.
How to Do the Activity
Now comes the fun part! Let’s see how you can engage your kid with this activity. Offer the alphabet pieces to your kid. Then, slide or move the strip from A to Z, one stoping at one alphabet at a time. Ask your kid to identify the letter on the strip. Then, tell them to pick the right alphabet and put the alphabet through the “feed me” hole on the cardboard.
