Once upon a time, in a grass meadow, there lived an ant and a grasshopper. During the time of hot summer, the ant used to work tirelessly, carrying wheat grains from the farmer’s field to her larder. She made countless trips, storing food for the coming winter. Meanwhile, the grasshopper spent his days singing and dancing, mocking the ant for her hard work.
Despite the grasshopper’s teasing, the ant remained focused on her task. She knew the importance of preparing for the colder days ahead. When the grasshopper suggested the ant to join in dancing and singing along with him, the ant kindly explained that she was saving food for the winter.
As summer turned to autumn and then to winter, the weather grew harsh. The once lively meadow became cold and barren, covered in snow. The grasshopper, who had enjoyed his carefree days during sunny days, now found himself hungry and cold, without food and shelter.
Desperate for help, he remembered the ant and sought refuge at her door. However, when he asked for food and shelter, the ant lend a helping hand by giving food and shelter to grasshopper. Also, the ant gently reminded him of his earlier mockery. She explained the importance of saving the food for winter and suggested that he should have done the same.
Realizing his mistake, the grasshopper felt regretful. He understood the importance of planning ahead and saving for the future. With newfound determination, he vowed to work hard and be prepared for whatever challenges lay ahead.
From that day on, the grasshopper learned to make the most of his time, knowing that it’s essential to “Plan ahead for future and use our time well.” And with the ant’s guidance, he discovered the value of hard work and preparation, ensuring that he would never again be caught unprepared.
